You keep making promises without making any specific statements, which any laymen (or members of our current administration) can do. 2012-06-20 [Loki]: For start hardee negative comments aren't welcome here and if you have noticed sense I have got my priv I have made 2 more counsel members we have changed the main page updating slut of the week the sex story and wikis along the lines of that, I have just about as much privilege as a guard and can make counsel members were trying to at least get some of the stuff back running and normal, fake will have weekly updates in stead of when ever the old people on council wanted to, were trying to get active members to help that's why I asked you if you wanted to help in stead of just sitting back asking what to do the people who message me wanting to help will find out what Im asking from them, so that is what Im trying to do get help with updates, delete wikis if the owner wants that done get more active members and just start it back on the right track in stead of just circling the drain like it was doing but then we get members who are like you that don't want to help and could care less they just come here to jack off to people and porn or they just sit there not careing no offence but I made this for the people that want to help not just sit around on there asses not doing anything to help

Just getting the expected services running isn't going to be enough to "save" FAKE-don't you get it? This site is dying because it's the most inept of it's kind. Social hookup/chat websites are nothing new, and have vastly improved beyond this 90's era design. FAKE is dying because it's a dinosaur. It's a relic of a bygone era when Facebook, Twitter, Skype and others didn't exist.
If you REALLY want to save fake and aren't just blowing smoke out your ass, you've got to destroy it. And completely rebuild it, this time without the incompetence or aid of the original designers and owners. Their vision and touch upon this website is what caused it's stagnation.

As I said before, I wish you luck. I'm also giving you an expiration date. I predict in a month you'll realize you're doing all the work with zero compensation or respect, and you'll give up. Prove me wrong. I'd love for you to. But I don't expect it.

2012-06-20 [Hardee Har har]: Proper grammar makes it easier to communicate your ideals, which is pretty important if you're to be a "leader" of anything. Rules of the internet be damned, you're suppose to set an example for the community.
If you can't take your own capacity to influence others seriously, I doubt you're sincere in your position or responsibilities as well. Proper grammar and spelling takes little effort, especially considering Firefox and other browsers auto-correct your mistakes. Your apathy overflows, and it's disheartening.

The best thing about FAKE is the mobile page. Pimp the shit out of that. Considering the pervasiveness of Smart Phones, that's going to be a huge appeal for many people.
Speaking of which, most people don't come to fake because no one knows it exist. Pimp the shit out of the site.

Third-and I'll be REALLY impressed if you do anything about this-do something about the legal age requirement. Simply asking for a credit card number or small fee in exchange for a minimal amout of privs would go a long way towards reducing the massive number of underage children who get on FAKE to discover their genitals. Failure to do this supports child porn in a business sense, and looks bad on the website.

The contests are pointless without something on the line other than a shiny (read: ugly) badge. Give people a reason to get involved. A DVD, a box of condoms, a gift card, something.

Also, "Slut of the week" sounds dumb and degrading. Change the title to something people won't be ashamed to have.

Do something about the trolls, such as [Wynter] and his millions of fake accounts. He's not the only one by far-unless people have a Dynamic IP address, it should be fairly easy to root out which members have multiple accounts.

The whole point is to act out your fantasies, whether they are being someone completely different or just sexual. It's when people start getting taken advantage of that it becomes a problem. Things like that must be reported otherwise there is nothing anyone can do. But I agree, the people who cause drama on a regular basis, such as [Wynter], should be taken care of

Multiple accounts also allow trolls to flourish, and while they plague every community, they've been especially bothersome on FAKE thanks to the very fantasy-enabling feature many people love to tout.
Oh, and our guards are lazy as fuck. But I'll save that for another rant.

Considering how lackluster the guards/council are here, eliminating multiple accounts would greatly reduce their workload and stress upon the community. I hate that it would come to that, but I see it as a necessary step in the right direction. Otherwise, FAKE is essentially F-List but with slightly more upkeep on the user's part.

I think a closer watch should be kept on said members, but I don't think they should be punished. Unless, like I said before, they are magnets for drama like [Wynter]. I myself have had a multitude of problems with him so I know first hand what you are saying. I also think that we need guards who are more active and enforce the rule a bit more. I've been here since 2005 and I am not afraid to say that fake has definitely gone down hill since then. We need new members and we need new staff in order to bring this site back to what it used to be, a site for people to go to have fun and not worry about all the bothersome people. I also noticed that people here have turned it into a strictly cyber sex community but there was so much more to it when it began.

I'd be more than happy to help you, but it's starting to appear as though you lack the capability/care to do anything. What exactly are you capable of, other than updating the main page and/or possibly banning people? What can you legitimately handle as a work load? What, if anything, should be handed to other respectable, trustworthy (and active) members that you could count on?

Maintaining FAKE has to be a tremendous amount of work due to all the rampant apathy and bullshit. But assuming one person can make the difference between "success" and "failure" isn't correct. This wiki page is a good idea that has been executed poorly. Start talking to some of the older, rampant members here, such as Trix, (I see Nik is here), Dr. Roberts and others. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to accommodate you. I'm one myself, despite appearances.

@Moubitt: Yep. I know what you mean. I actually joined here when it first started up too, though I won't say under what name. The staff/guards need completely revised, but coincidentally the application process needs to be more lenient. Too many people have been turned away simply because someone during the approval didn't like them. That's a cancerous risk the community can't take anymore.
